Look at that excited face. On this date in 2020 I Look at that excited face. On this date in 2020 I was on my way to NAMM. 2020 held all kinds of musical possibility, and NAMM created all kinds of potential for collaboration, touring, new creative adventures!
But as the best-laid schemes o mice an' men gang aft agley, so it seems that having fucking idiots with less wisdom than actual mice in charge wasn't really in our favour when it came to dealing with a pandemic.
Plans on hold, much of life on pause and the entire music economy decimated, Brexit kicking it in the face once it was on the ground.
Still, I'm hanging onto the promise of that airport grin. Of new creative adventures and possibilities, more music making and a renewed understanding of how important it is for artists to help tell the story of who we are and how we got into this mess ❤️

Other than the incredible range of sounds possible Other than the incredible range of sounds possible, I think my favourite thing about the @moddevices DuoX is the absolutely extraordinary scope for wild audio routing options. Running multiple overdrive in parallel, with an octaver, makes for a truly massive, terrifying sound. Will be perfect when we get to do #Torycore live again. 🤘
