Just saw this on Jonatha Brooke’s Myspace blog – she’s working on a bunch of Woody Guthrie songs, with access granted to the archives by Woody’s daughter, Nora.
As a HUGE fan of what Billy Bragg was able to do on the ‘Mermaid Avenue’ records, and a huge fan of what Jonatha does on her own material, I’m very excited to hear how this turns out – keep an eye on Jonatha’s blog for updates.
