Steve - as one of the "liggers" on the guestlist on Tuesday I have to say that the gig was real "value for money". I think it ranked as one of the best gigs of yours that i've been to. Certainly the quality of music presented (and the variety!) was VERY high. I love coming to recycle collective gigs because there's the sense that ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN. And indeed there have been times where strange and beautiful things did occur. For Tuesday's gig there was a sense that you had invited friends and acquaintances to come and listen to you and your friends play music. This meant that the audience was already pretty much on your side from the start and created a vibe that was eager, interested, engaged - much more than I think you might have expected from a "free gig" (free as in beer).

What's absolutely clear is that you (and Lloyd, Miriam, Jez, Lobelia, Patrick and Roy) gave all of us present a gift of music. And I for one am very greatful that you did. Please carry on doing so.
